The New England Regional Council of Carpenters Endorses Haggerty

The New England Regional Council of Carpenters and its members recently endorsed Rich Haggerty for State Representative of the 30th Middlesex District.

“Council President Haggerty has shown his commitment time and time again to … good wages, safe working conditions, and a dignified retirement. As Woburn City Council President, he has gone out of his way to learn about the underground economy and has acted to make the construction industry safer and more equitable.”

The New England Regional Council of Carpenters (NERCC) represents over 28,000 carpenters, pile drivers, shop & millmen, and floorcoverers working in New England and New York state with an additional 1,500 active contractors who have signed agreements.

“I’m very pleased to have been endorsed by the Carpenters’ Union and am looking forward to working with them on the issues of wage theft and safety that affect their members” said Haggerty.

Rich Haggerty is Running for State Representative of the 30th Middlesex District in Reading and Woburn. The Massachusetts Democratic Primary will be held on September 4th.
